We received a Silver rating in the PRIDE Index 2024, an index evaluating LGBT-related efforts.
Declaration to Promote Gender Equality
Declaration to Promote Gender Equality in Aichi
To promote gender equality in Aichi Prefecture, efforts thus far have focused on acquiring knowledge and conducting education about perceptions through activities such as workshops and training programs. Toyohashi University of Technology has been authorized from 5th April 2023.
Declaration to Promote Gender Equality in TUT
We made the Office of Gender Equality (2011) and Head Office for Gender Equality (2020) progress to the Center for Diversity and Inclusion in April 2022. Now, we declare "TUT EQUAL" to realize a campus where diverse human resources can demonstrate their individuality and abilities with vigor and respect in all aspects of education, research, and university administration.

Declaration of IkuBoss
IkuBoss means Supervisors who support childcare and consider work-life balance. President Terashima declared IkuBoss on 19th August 2022.

To realize a campus where diverse human resources can respected together in all aspects of education, research, and administration and where people can vigorously exercise their individuality and abilities, we declare that we will work to promote diversity to become "TUT EQUAL" and will also take the initiative to become "Ikubosu" to take the initiative in leading a fulfilling work and life.

Kurumin Certification
On the action plan to support child-rearing from 2019 to 2022 in TUT, we received the "kurumin" accreditation mark from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on 21st July 2022.
